Mechanical Stripping Methods Items needed: Latex gloves (to prevent cable from slipping through your hands) Plier-Nose Wire strippers (size 22-30 AWG) Use 28 AWG for P/N: 75UR200K038, 038UV200K and 034UV200K Use 26 AWG for P/N: 75UR400K055 and 055UV400K Use 22 AWG for P/N: 75UR1000K125 1. Pick up the cable with the hand you have the latex glove on. 2. Select the Wire Stripper hole from above based on the cable you are stripping 3. Strip the cable in sections .250” in length or less at a time until the desired length is reached. 4. Pull the Kevlar back out of the way or trim and you are ready to proceed. ***We're working on a short video to show this process*** |
