Our Founder, Warren R. Burnham, Jr. Our founder, Warren R. Burnham, Jr. was born in Worchester Massachusetts in 1938. He moved to New York in his mid 20's after working as a Mechanical Engineer for a few years. He built his own extruder and began fabricating cassette rod. He was constantly making improvements and began extruding vinyl tubing for an irrigation system. He further improved the machines capabilities until Burnham Polymeric, Inc. was born in 1982. Warren has several patents that he utilized to provide reinforced tubing to the medical industry. The tubing is used in several catheter applications. In the late 90's, Burnham Polymeric, Inc. ventured into the fiber optic field. We successfully constructed a reinforced fiber optic cable to withstand harsh underwater environments for the U.S. Navy. This product can be used for several different applications. Please see our products page for more information. Sadly, Warren passed away in March of 2006. He has left behind a dedicated team with years of experience in the reinforcement of both fiber optic cable and medical tubing. Burnham's team has developed a new UV reinforced fiber optic cable that is being offered at affordable costs to the government and industry. Our mission is to constantly improve our product lines to better serve our customers needs. Please see our products page for more information. Burnham's management team includes:
